GROTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A power outage Tuesday has delayed openings for two schools in Groton, according to Groton Public School officials.

Fitch High School and Groton Middle School are on a 3-hour delay, school officials said.

According to the school officials, the power outage is likely due to high winds.
