HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A scramble to find a new place to learn leads some students to set up a classroom in a unique setting.
It's where they stand around for "morning mixer," brain exercises to get their day started. If this "Classroom" they're in looks familiar, perhaps you used to do your banking there.
"This was the bank lobby when we moved in; there was a teller line that had to be removed," Nikki Cannavo, principal of Covenant Preparatory School, said.
A former Berkshire Bank location in downtown Hartford is now where Covenant Preparatory School students receive their education.
"We learned May 21 we needed to be out of our previous location by the end of July. It was stressful, but we ended up in this beautiful new spot," Cannavo said.
