LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — A Lorain County grand jury has indicted 24-year-old Jacob Rosado in connection with the death of 16-year-old Vincent Pabon, court records show.
The indictment, filed Oct. 10, includes a third-degree felony charge of tampering with evidence, linked to the ongoing investigation into Pabon’s death.
Police say Rosado was the last person seen with Pabon the night of Aug. 6, before the teen’s body was found in the Black River near Elyria’s East Falls Riverwalk on Aug. 9.
The night of Aug. 6, Elyria police say a surveillance camera captured Pabon and Rosado walking down a trail to the Black River.
The next morning at 5:37 a.m., police say Rosado was captured walking out alone. More than two hours later, Rosado reported Pabon missing to police.
