BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Good morning!

We are in for a cool morning with temperatures mainly in the 50s under a clear sky.

THE NEXT 24 HOURS: This afternoon, highs will return to the low and mid-80s with ample sunshine. Expect a nice breeze out of the north-northwest at five-15 mph.

We will remain dry through the end of the work week, and temperatures will warm slightly with highs returning to the mid-80s.

THE NEXT BIG THING: All signs point to a cold front moving through the southeast this weekend, which will give us a good chance of rain late Saturday night into Sunday.
