GRAHAM COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - Graham County Schools said it will have a remote learning day on Tuesday following threat that was made.

The school district said on Monday Afternoon, the administration at Robbinsville High School was alerted of a message written in a school bathroom referencing a threat toward teachers for Oct. 14.

According to officials, there is no indication that the threat is credible but out of an abundance of caution, all Graham County Schools will operate on a remote learning day on Tuesday.

“We recognize this decision may cause inconvenience to families but the safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority,” the district said.
