Cal Raleigh and the Seattle Mariners have taken complete control of the American League Championship Series. Despite being deemed not the favorites, they hammered the Toronto Blue Jays 10-3 in Game 2 at Rogers Center to take a 2–0 lead in the series.

The Mariners wasted no time jumping on the Blue Jays early. In the top of the first inning, Julio Rodriguez crushed a three-run homer off rookie Trey Yesavage, silencing the home crowd. Toronto fought back briefly. George Springer doubled and scored, Alejandro Kirk added an RBI single, and Nathan Lukes tied it at 3-3 in the second inning. But they couldn’t do much after that.
