Artist Adam Cvijanovic’s vibrant new mural at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York features iconic Catholics like St. Frances Xavier Cabrini and Blessed Pierre Toussaint, but it’s largely peopled by everyday men, women and children, which, the artist has said he hopes, triggers feelings of belonging in everyone who views it.

Similarly, the recently-finished mural created by artists Kim Tatum Robbins and Rose Harrington at Conshohocken’s Sutcliffe Park ball field depicts “regular people” who’ve played on Conshohocken baseball and softball league teams over the years.

Robbins explains the colorful lineup took root during a casual chat with Conshohocken photographer Brian Coll. In the end, she and Harrington, who works at the latter’s Coll’s Custom Framing & Gallery, volunteered their brush
