Fargo-based printmaker, educator and emerging weaver Amanda Heidt has long been known for her work in craft and materiality, but recently she’s been steadily building a new relationship with fiber, which she’ll talk about from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Plains Art Museum.

A grant from The Arts Partnership helped this talented NDSU School of Art and Design Research Printmaker purchase her first rigid heddle loom, setting her on a path that’s taken her around the state of North Dakota — and back to graduate school.
