WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The fifth election of the year in Sedgwick County is quickly approaching, and there are some important dates to note.

Tuesday is the last day to register to vote or to change your voter information before the Nov. 4 election.

Here are some other dates to keep in mind.

Mail in ballots begin mailing on Oct. 15. That’s also when advance in-person voting starts in certain districts.

In Sedgwick County, advance in-person voting begins on Oct. 20. You can start voting at the Sedgwick County election office from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Oct. 28 is the deadline the request an advance mail-in ballot.

Advance voting at all satellite locations begins Oct. 30.

The general election is Nov. 4.
