A steady rainfall drenched much of North Jersey on Oct. 12 and 13, with several towns recording more than 2 inches of precipitation, according to data from the National Weather Service and local weather observers.

Bergen County rain totals

The heaviest totals were reported in Montvale, which saw 2.16 inches, followed closely by New Milford at 2.08 inches and Maywood with 1.98 inches. Other Bergen County towns, including Tenafly and Paramus, each recorded 1.96 inches, while Fair Lawn, River Edge, Glen Rock, North Arlington, Bogota, and Emerson saw between 1.6 and 1.8 inches of rainfall.

Essex County rain totals
