LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Police are investigating a homicide in the northwest valley.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the investigation is taking place in the 5300 block of Cheyenne Avenue and Michael Way, west of N. Rancho Drive.

Police are expected to release more information at 7 a.m.
