MIDLAND, Mich. (WNEM) - A Lansing man as been arrested and is facing charges after investigators said he broke into a house in Warren Township.
The Midland County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched Sunday, Oct. 12 at 12:16 a.m. after reports of a home invasion in progress.
The sheriff’s office said the victims, a 30-year-old Coleman man and 26-year-old Coleman woman awoke to find a man in their bedroom.
The Coleman man was able to contain the suspect, Nicholas Premo, in the garage while waiting for law enforcement, the sheriff’s office said.
On Monday, Oct. 13, the sheriff’s office said Premo was arraigned in the 75th District Court on these charges:

Breaking and entering a building with intent
Possession of burglar’s tools
Larceny in a buildin
