It’s hard to imagine the pain some dogs endure before anyone finds them.

Each story of neglect reminds us how deeply animals depend on people: to notice, to care, and to act. No dog should have to suffer in silence or wonder if help will ever come.

That was little Zephyr’s world. The young puppy was discovered alone in a pumpkin patch in Nebraska, too weak to stand, her ribs showing beneath her thin fur.
