WAYNESVILLE, Mo. (KY3) - A woman from Virginia has been charged with first-degree harassment after allegedly delivering a fetus in a cooler to a man’s house, telling him, “here’s your kid,” before driving away.

The incident occurred on September 18 when Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a house on Laddie Lane for reports of a fetus in a cooler.

According to court documents filed on October 8, Makayla Haedt, 29, had been in an on-and-off romantic relationship with the man for several years. He told a deputy that Haedt was a “habitual liar,” which caused him to doubt her when she claimed to be pregnant one to two months prior.
