But as Patrick Mekari sees it, that time for the Jaguars' offensive line will come later this week. Until then, the idea will be to learn from a difficult experience.

And fast.

"We have to look at it, and take accountability for it," he said.

Mekari, the Jaguars' starting right guard, spoke to the media Monday in the wake of a loss to the Seattle Seahawks in which the Jaguars' offensive line struggled more than in the season's first five games.

"At the end of the day, we did not play well enough up front," Head Coach Liam Coen said, calling the Jaguars' next opponent – the Los Angeles Rams – "another challenge against a really good front."
