ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - An 18-year-old is charged after a vehicle was shot at while it was driving through Rock Island.

Terrence McClay, 18, was identified as the person police said was masked, shooting at a vehicle that was driving in the 1300 block of 14th 1/2 Street.

Officers received several calls reporting gunfire at 1:32 p.m. Oct. 10 in the area, according to a media release.

Officers found shell casings but no damage or injuries, police said.

McClay is charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and reckless discharge of a firearm.

Officials said McClay was arrested on Monday and officers found a stolen gun inside his home.

McClay was taken to the Rock Island County Jail and is being held with no bond, according to police.
