Three people who were killed in separate homicides across New Orleans last week, including in a murder-suicide in the East and a fight at Duncan Plaza, were identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office on Tuesday morning.

Murder-suicide in New Orleans East

Brenda Maricela Bueso Molina, 38, was identified by the Coroner's Office as one of two people found shot dead in a Village de L'Est apartment early on Oct. 8.

New Orleans Police Department officials said Molina and a man were believed to be killed in murder-suicide and that children were present during the shooting.

Though police did not say who carried out the shooting, the Coroner's Office did not release the man's identity and does not identify people who die by suicide, according to spokesperson Jason Melancon.
