Air India and Air India Express have announced a major festive expansion with 166 additional flights connecting Patna to key cities across India ahead of Diwali and Chhath Puja. The move aims to meet the heavy passenger demand expected during the upcoming travel rush.

Expanded operations to ease festive rush

The Tata Group-owned carriers said the additional services will operate between mid-October and early November, significantly improving access to Bihar’s capital during one of the busiest travel periods of the year. Between October 15 and November 2, Air India will operate 38 extra flights each on the Delhi-Patna, Mumbai-Patna, and Bengaluru-Patna routes.
