The Office may have finished more than 20 years ago but Ricky Gervais fans still cannot get enough of him as less than impressive regional manager David Brent.

Before Steve Carell was Michael Scott in The Office US, Ricky Gervais brought the inappropriate people pleaser David Brent to life in the unforgettable two-season sitcom The Office.

Also starring Martin Freeman, Mackenzie Crook, Lucy Davis and Beyond Paradise ’s Sally Bretton, BBC ’s The Office was a mockumentary-style comedy revolving around a Slough-based paper merchants.

Gervais’ comedy also led to the creation of The Office US which ran for a whopping nine seasons and won a plethora of awards.

Now, the 64-year-old will be returning to his character of David Brent in an upcoming U&Gold series about classic British sitco
