A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a London man accused of defrauding investors after he failed to appear for his first court date.

The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) , the watchdog responsible for regulating firms and individuals selling securities, derivatives and providing investment advice, charged Dino DeLellis with fraud and making a prohibited representation in August.

DeLellis, 65, is accused of using investor money for personal expenses, failing to invest funds as promised, promising to repay losses for an investor who bought securities from him, and using a fake name to hide his history of securities misconduct, the OSC said.
