ALLEN PARK -- With all the missing , limping and suspended defensive pieces, the Detroit Lions are hopeful to get a major player back this week.

Alim McNeill has been back at practice for two weeks since the team opened his 21-day return window. The defensive lineman was a full participant in every practice last week. Lions coach Dan Campbell said every offensive lineman hates him right now, because that’s how good he looks.

“He looked good last week,” Campbell said. “The last two weeks, he’s looked good. He’s getting more comfortable, legs are under him, he’s physically ready. And so, I think we’re all hopeful.”
