Despite criticism, New Orleans City Councilmember Oliver Thomas on Tuesday doubled down on his fiery mayor's race concession speech , arguing on a local radio station that Mayor-elect Helena Moreno's win was "calculated and coordinated."
Calling into WBOK radio on Tuesday morning, Thomas, who came in third place with 19% of the vote on Saturday, said: "People like to control systems, and they plan, and they engineer."
"I have receipts," said Thomas, who added that he "used to not be a conspiracy theorist, because I thought OJ did it." He didn't provide any proof of his claims.
