Friday night at Max Marr Stadium, Resurrection Christian senior quarterback Jackson Lucas will lead his team into a key 2A North League matchup against Berthoud.

Seven miles north, his sophomore brother Finley will do the same with his Thompson Valley team when the Eagles take on Mountain View in a crosstown rivalry and 3A/4A North 1 League showdown at Ray Patterson Stadium.

The brothers, who now share the same position at schools across town from each other, have played football just about their entire lives, but the path each has taken to get where they are has most certainly been different.

One changed position this season after a coaching change, while the other moved into a starting role as a freshman and led his team to a state championship.
