Trial for woman found alive in body bag delayed as 5-year death anniversary nears

It's been nearly five years since Erica Lattimore's 20-year-old daughter died after being found alive inside a body bag at a funeral home.

Lattimore said she thought she would have a chance to receive justice for her daughter's death and the suffering the City of Southfield put her family through at a jury trial scheduled for Sept. 15 for the lawsuit her family filed in Oakland County Circuit Court. But she said she was crushed when the trial was delayed for a third time at the city's request.
