SPRING HILL, Fla. (WFLA) — An employee at a Spring Hill daycare was arrested last week after deputies said she was caught on surveillance video abusing an 11-year-old child with disabilities.

Video from inside a classroom at Tender Care PPEC showed Kaitlyn Pitzer, 36, aggressively interacting with the child — at one point putting hand sanitizer on the 11-year-old's open wounds, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the daycare facility on Oct. 6 after receiving a report of possible child abuse and were able to review surveillance video from the classroom.
