Los Angeles' film and TV industry began to benefit from California’s tax credit program, but the number of days movies and shows spent on filming in LA continued to decline, according to a new report released Tuesday.

FilmLA, the official film office for the city and county of Los Angeles, released its quarterly report on Tuesday, saying the $750 million film and TV tax credit program launched in July by Governor Gavin Newsom began to bear fruit. But it may be too soon to see the full promised effect of the tax credit program as on-location production in greater Los Angeles declined by more than 13% overall between July and September.
