LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - After a decade with the Kansas program as an assistant, Jeremy Case has been promoted to associate head coach by Kansas head coach Bill Self.

Case joined the Jayhawks coaching staff in August 2016 and became a full-time assistant coach in April 2021.

“Jeremy has done a tremendous job as an assistant coach since 2021,” Self said in a release from KU Athletics on Tuesday. “He has played a big role both on the court and in the new world of college basketball recruiting.”

Self said he and Case discussed the promotion last spring but delayed making it an official announcement due to staff changes during the summer.

“I’m very excited for Jeremy and his family,” Self said. “He’s a rising star in the profession.”

Case was part of Kansas’ 2008 NCAA National Championship
