IOWA CITY — On one side, a model of stability. On the other, a picture of chaos.
The Iowa vs. Penn State matchup on Oct. 18 has suddenly gone from a matchup of the two longest-tenured Big Ten Conference coaches to a matchup of uncertainty and emotions.
Kirk Ferentz is still leading Iowa, of course, 27 years and counting. The Hawkeyes improved to 4-2 with their resounding 37-0 thumping at Wisconsin on Oct. 11.
