Letter: Commissioner Turnberg's suggestion for new Fargo Public School name is ludicrous

Iread with shock that Commissioner Turnberg has suggested that a new elementary school be named after Charlie Kirk.

First off, absolutely no one should be shot for political reasons.

But to suggest that a man who said in April 2023:

“It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights" should have an elementary school named after him is ludicrous, insulting, and completely off the wall.
