BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A local group will gather in Bluefield this weekend as part of the national “No Kings Day” protests.

The event, organized by Mercer County WV Indivisible, will take place Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 617 Raleigh Street, commonly known as the parking lot and dog park area along Princeton Avenue.

“This past June, on Flag Day, there was a rally to remind us that the purpose of our American Revolution was to throw off the tyranny of a king, and to peacefully declare: America has no king,” said event organizer Debra Kilgore.
