The Petrolia man charged with cruelty to animals and not giving police a breath sample after ducks and a Canada goose were killed by a pickup truck in Centennial Park has been convicted only of the breath sample offence and all the charges linked to the birds have been dropped.
Brandon Norton’s lawyer, James Guggisberg, told the judge his client is the hobby farmer type who grew up around animals and livestock.

“He had no intention of hurting, let alone killing, any of the geese,” he said.
