Pauline Johnson Collegiate’s senior girls basketball team hasn’t posted a win yet in AABHN league play but the team’s coach says they have done something just as important.
“There’s seeds being planted and the most important thing is we’re building for a stronger tomorrow and a stronger next season,” Thunderbirds coach Felicia Thompson said after her team lost 52-16 loss at North Park Collegiate on Tuesday against the Trojans.
The Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk standings will show that North Park is now 4-4 and PJC is 0-8. Obviously wins and losses are one way to evaluate a team’s success but Thompson said there are other ways.
