One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash at Nelles Corners in Haldimand County on Tuesday morning.

The crash involving a commercial vehicle and passenger van occurred at the intersection of Highway 3 and Regional Road 20.

A passenger in the van died at the scene and the driver was transported to hospital with undetermined injuries, Haldimand OPP Const. Patti Cote said in a social media post.

Roads in the area of the collision were closed for several hours.
