Yet another case of animal abandonment has occurred - this time in New Haven.

On Monday, a dog was found tied up to a fence and left in the rain with no shelter.

The dog has since been taken to the The Robin I. Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter where it remains safe.

They're looking for whoever abandoned the dog, and the person responsible remains unknown.

The shelter took to Facebook to share a message pleading with authorities to help identify a suspect.
