CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A new federal law aims to fight dangerous hazing on college campuses and make the reporting process more transparent.

The Stop Campus Hazing Act comes as Ohio continues to grapple with serious hazing incidents across its universities.

Despite this, experts said Ohio leads the nation when it comes to anti-hazing laws.

Dr. Pietro Sasso is an associate professor of education at Delaware State University.

He expects the new federal law will bring more transparency to the public about hazing incidents on campus.
