SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa (KCAU) — A big change is coming to Polaris Industries in the coming year. On Monday, the company announced that it will be selling Indian Motorcycles.

The motorcycle brand is being sold to a California-based Carolwood P., which is a private equity firm.

A press release from Polaris said the deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026. Spirit Lake, Iowa, holds just one of the few Indian Motorcycle plants
