HOOVER, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Folks in Hoover are worried about a cat that’s stranded on top of the old Sears building at the Riverchase Galleria.

According to a Facebook post from Kitty Kat Haven and Rescue in Hoover , they are aware of the situation and are working with the city’s animal control, the fire and police department, and security at The Galleria to do what they can to help.

The rescue said they appreciate concerns from residents, but they said no one should attempt to climb to the roof and to not call The Galleria about it. They are all aware of the situation.
