DERIDDER, La. (KPLC) - Female business owners and community leaders came together in DeRidder for a luncheon filled with inspiration and laughter.

Holly Smith, owner of the local business Rustic Cottage, said her niece is the motivation behind her continued success in the business.

“I just love doing this and showing her what it is like owning a business as a woman,” Smith said.

Southern charm filled the Beauregard Fairgrounds as the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce and Beauregard Health System hosted their fifth annual Women in Business luncheon.

“It’s just a great event, women coming together supporting women, at the end of the day, it’s the support,” Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lisa Adams said.
