A new true crime drama is about to hit streaming. Based on what’s commonly referred to as the “Murdaugh murders,” Murdaugh: Death in the Family follows the double homicide of a mother and son from a wealthy, wildly powerful South Carolina family. But, as the eight-part miniseries will unpack, it’s way more complicated than that, as these are not the first murders tied to the Murdaughs.
