LORENA, Texas — Gatesville looks to rebound following their first loss as they head to Lorena in KCEN’s Game of the Week.

Gatesville (5-1) heads into the matchup coming off its first loss of the season, a 24-7 defeat to La Vega. That game marked the most points the Hornets’ defense has allowed all year. Still, the Hornets have shown plenty of firepower, led by a strong passing attack that has been key to their five wins this season.

First-year head coach Jose Aguirre has built a team that thrives on both sides of the ball, but especially through the air, where Gatesville’s offense has found its rhythm all season long.
