KILLEEN, Texas — A former Killeen ISD employee who has been detained by ICE and is accused of falsifying employment documents has waived her right to a pretrial hearing, according to court documents.

57-year-old Ofelia Negrete-Arriaga was scheduled for a preliminary/detention hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 14. That hearing was later canceled until further notice after Negrete-Arriaga waived her right to a pretrial and detention hearing.

Court documents say Negrete-Arriaga will be "committed to the custody of the Attorney General or his designated representative for confinement in a corrections facility separate, to the extent practicable, from persons awaiting or serving sentences or being held in custody pending appeal" until her trial.
