CAMERON, Texas (KWTX) - A Milam County grand jury indicted Jordan Alexander Johnson, 26, of Waco, on three counts of manslaughter in the collision that killed three members of the McCaffety family in April.
At the time of the collision, the Texas Dept. of Public Safety told KWTX the family’s vehicle was struck by an 18-wheeler in a construction zone on State Highway 36 while they were on the way to their son’s baseball game near Milano.
The wreck claimed the lives of Clint and Meghan McCaffety, and their 18-year-old son, Connor, a student-athlete at Rogers ISD.
DPS said Clint McCaffety, 43, was driving a Ford sedan and stopped in the westbound lane in a construction zone on the Milam-Burleson county line.
