(WAND) - Portions of Macon and DeWitt Counties are without power Tuesday evening.

According to the Ameren Illinois outage map , 1,369 residents were affected in DeWitt County, and 924 were impacted in Macon County.

The map indicates that the main communities impacted are Clinton, Maroa and Wapella.

WAND News called Ameren Illinois to get a possible explanation for the outages, but did not receive a response at this time.
