The OU football team got its first loss of the season in the Red River Rivalry game against Texas.

OU (5-1) had a disappointing performance against bitter rivals Texas, falling 23-6 without managing to score a touchdown . The Sooners dropped from No. 6 to No. 13 in the US LBM Coaches Poll following the defeat.
