New Delhi: Hyderabad-based New Space Startup Skyroot Aerospace has tested its Orbital Adjustment Module in a unique way, by firing its thrusters to the rhythm of ‘Saare Jahan se Accha’. One Raman-2 engine, four Raman mini thrusters, and eight cold gas thrusters were are perfectly synchronised to the tune through over 1,000 pulses, demonstrating the precision of the hardware. The patriotic song has special significance in Indian Spaceflight, as they were used to describe the appearance of India from space by Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to reach Earth orbit, during a call with the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
