WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - UPDATE: The Wichita Police Department confirmed the arrest of a 22-year-old man in connection with a case that began as an investigation into a possible abduction.

Police said the man was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on charges that include aggravated battery, strangulation, two domestic battery counts and criminal restraint.

The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office will determine formal charges in the case.

UPDATE: The Wichita Police Department said its investigation into a possible abduction in north Wichita caught a break Tuesday afternoon with confirmation that a woman, shown on doorbell camera footage being forcibly taken from a front porch, is safe.
