HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. —
Hardin County students are once again collecting supplies for cancer patients.
Students at Bluegrass Middle School will donate the items to patients at the UofL Health Brown Cancer Center.
This is the third drive in honor of Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman, who underwent a double mastectomy in 2023 due to cancer concerns.
Other efforts were held in February and March, but students wanted to host the drive in October to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The drive started this week and runs through Nov. 14.
