City of SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - The Sun Prairie Police Department arrested two people in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in September, city officials reported on Tuesday.
According to SPPD, a call came in at 2:45 p.m. on September 23 for a report of a theft that happened in the 300 block of Schneider Road. SSPD later determined it was an armed robbery.
Officials indicated the suspects and victim arranged over social media to meet up at the location for a marketplace exchange.
Police said during the exchange, one suspect allegedly ran away with the victim’s property while the other allegedly showed a weapon.
Both suspects then left the area in a vehicle, SPPD stated.
A witness gave police critical information about the armed robbery and helped identify those involved.
