LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- An 18-inch water main break in Laughlin caused water to be shut off within a portion of the Casino Drive corridor, the Las Vegas Valley Water District confirmed Tuesday night.

The Big Bend Water District, which is operated by the LVVWD, responded to the water main break on Casino Drive near the Aquarius Hotel and Casino Tuesday.

As of 9:30 p.m., crews were able to isolate the leak and repairs were underway.

The main break caused water service to be "temporarily interrupted" within the Casino Drive corridor between the Golden Nugget on the south end and the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce offices on the north end.
