LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas Metro police investigated an illegal shooting in the east valley on Tuesday.

It happened shortly before 8 p.m. in the 5900 block of Silverheart Avenue near Sahara Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they located several residences with "impacts," police told 8 News Now.

No injuries were reported.

Las Vegas Metro police remained at the scene Tuesday evening to investigate the shooting.
